I haven't really taken the time to blog this month.
I've gotten plenty of action figures lately that I may take some time to post eventually.
We bought an Echo Dot 2 a week or so ago. Really digging it. Looking forward to the Google Home as well. The Echo isn't Smartphone level life changing or anything but it's an incredibly fun $50 to spend if you have any other smarthome products to control with it. And asking for specific music by voice is a hella lot of fun too. It's not exactly like talking to the Enterprise computer, but it feels close enough for the price at times.
Lots of Superhero shows in the queue right now: Luke Cage, Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow. That doesn't count Gotham or Agents of Shield both of which I dropped awhile back. Haven't started Westworld yet. Feel like I should watch some Black Mirror. Just too much TV. When I do get some free time for that sort of thing, I don't always feel like stepping onto that treadmill of watching lately.
Microsoft and Apple Laptop events yesterday. Microsoft had the more interesting devices. Both companies are pricey. Not outrageous, but they are definitely making computers at considered, not impromptu, pricepoints.
Watched this 2 hour BBC documentary: Hypernormalization. It's visually and musically very interestingly put together, a bit silly and simplistic in spots, but if you like conspiracy type tales, it's entertaining and kindof informative if you don't take it too seriously.
Hey the election if in 2 weeks. Let's hope we get a bit of a break after it's over, and things don't just ramp up even more crazy. Maybe I'll do a blog post on my election thoughts next week.
