Wizard World Chicago 2004 Comic Convention
August 14, 2004
This is the first major comic convention that I have been to. Definently
an interesting time. Lots of stuff to see and great people watching. Misc.
Pictures below:

The convention center in Rosemont just north of Chicago.

Now this is very cool. The first showing of the upcoming Green
Lantern DC Direct Action figure wave!
New Hal Jordan costume, Kilowog (these pictures do not do him justice,
he's bigger than the Grodd figure!) Ganthet, updated Blackhand,
Parallax.

those crimson robes by the way.)

Definently need to move along now, Lou Ferigno, the Hulk looks
pissed at us!

The convention is a good place to see all manner of statues and
whatnot.

This is probably old, but still a cool statue.

Kevin Smith's View Askew booth.

I didn't get to see Kevin Smith though. You needed to get a wristband
to get into his panel. I found out about the wristband need too late :(
Lots of comics and lots of dealers.

ooh the Fantastic Four gift set that was just released two days
ago and a variant one, with the clear Sue Storm, too boot! $150,
too rich for me. I'll have to keep looking at Toys R Us.
